Most girls I know, when talking about female inequality go ‘I’m not a feminist but…’

Excuse me? What? What happened?!

I realise that there a probably a large number of young people (yes men can be feminists too) who would label themselves feminists and are very much for gender equality (and racial equality because duh you can’t have one without the other) but I am speaking to the masses here. Sexism transcends gender, race, class, ethnicity, sexual orientation, religion - you name it! And so many seem to think of it as a non issue.

WELL IT ISN’T!

You know Patriarchy’s best weapon is the feminist stereotype, no one wants to be associated with the man hating, hair sprouting, fat, ugly dykes do they?

Aaaaaaaaaaaa

Wake up! Wake up! Social injustice is a political TRUTH. Stop pretending like it’s not there for the sake of offending the feminine ideal or whatever it is that makes you think that women under any circumstances have it good in this world.

P.S. Educate yourself on what’s going on in Washington at the moment, and tell me that Women’s rights are adequately protected.
